Mike Horgan joined px in February 2019 as Managing Director, Onshore Oil & Gas and is responsible for both reliable and efficient operations of the assets operated by px Group on behalf of NSMP, and Projects and Engineering across px Group.
Mike is a qualified Chemical Engineer and has 30 years’ experience in both operational and project roles for several operator and supply chain companies including Marathon, Amec, Amec Foster Wheeler and Wood. These roles covered both onshore and offshore assets in all aspects of Operations and Maintenance and brownfield activity.
Mike’s experience covers Engineering support and design, he has worked as an Offshore Installation Manager, Project Manager/Director, Asset Manager and Country Manager. He has helped shape organisations to be safe, efficient, delivery-focused, and cost-effective across a number of international roles, including those in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australia and North America.
Mike is a Board member and Chairman of the Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organization (OPITO).
